Art Examinations Preparation
Students will be prepared for the IGCSE, AS and A Level in Art & Design examination from English examination centres. The various levels of examinations require different knowledge, skills and techniques.
IGCSE & O LEVEL: This is the first level of Art & Design examinations. For this course the students will learn basic drawing and painting techniques and will be involved in a wide experimentation of the various uses of materials. They will gain experiences in all drawing, painting and sketching techniques, and become confident.
AS & A LEVEL: This is the second level of the Art & Design examinations starting from the AS and progressing to the final level which is the full A Level in Art & Design. The First part the AS, requires one creative coursework project, where the students can choose their own theme to research and one set test, where the themes are given to us from the examination body and the students are required to choose one. The Final part of the examination requires another completed project chosen by the student and one essay.
